The investigation started this morning. An overview:

  • Research into activities in the framework of a criminal organization, money laundering and private corruption

  • Some brokers would have kept rewards hidden

  • During the investigation, possible influence of matches was also revealed

  • House searches at Anderlecht, Club, Ghent, Genk, Standard, Kortrijk, KV Mechelen and Lokeren

  • Club Bruges coach Ivan Leko has been taken by police for investigation

  • Estate Agent Mogi Bayat has been arrested by the court

  • Ex-Anderlecht manager Van Holsbeeck is also being interrogated

  • Refs Vertenten and Delferière should start worrying ...

  • Also 13 house searches abroad (France, Luxembourg, Cyprus, Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia)

Update 11/10/2018:

Only Herman Vanholsbeeck ( ex manager Anderlecht ) was allowed to go home. Others had to stay in jail for the night and called for their lawyers.
