Nani skippered Orlando City FC

America's Major League Soccer is set to lose one of its biggest imports and a big name in the person of Luis Nani. In an official statement posted on his Twitter page at around 21:31 GMT, Nani confirmed that he is leaving Orlando City FC after 3 years in the Florida-based franchise.

In the official statement released, the former Manchester United winger revealed that the management of Orlando City FC decided not to offer him a new contract. Highlights of Nani's Stay At Orlando City FC.

Luis Nani signed for Orlando City FC on February 18, 2019, on a three-year contract. He debuted on March 2 in a game against New York City FC.

Nani also helped his Orlando City side reach the finals of the MLS is Back Tournament where they later finished as runners-up as they lost to Portland Timbers on July 31, 2020.

Luis Nani also had the honour of being the captain of Orlando City FC.
