PSSI has received an official announcement from KOI regarding the jersey that will be used by the "Garuda Muda" squad at the 2018 Asian Games.

The Indonesian national team U-23 is ensured to wear a new jersey at the 2018 Asian Games. This jersey is not made by Nike as a apparel sponsor that is been made a contract with the PSSI.

But the jersey in this time was the product of an apparel company from China, Li Ning. Because, Li Ning has signed his contract with the 2018 Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) for the four-year multievent as an official sponsor of the Indonesian contingent apparel.

PSSI itself has received an official confirmation from the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) regarding the design of match shirts for football team. In a letter number 243/UMM-KOI/VII/2018 dated August 6 that was signed by the caretaker secretary general of KOI, Hellen Sarita de Lima, there were two match design shirts for the "Garuda Muda" squad.

The first design of a red jersey combined with dark gradation. While the second jersey is white with a red gradation.

As is known, on the 2018 Asian Games, squad coached by Luis Milla's will joined group A. In this group, Hansamu Yama Pranata and his friends will face Chinese Taipei (8/12), Palestine (8/15), Laos (8/17), and Hong Kong (8/20).
