Another profitable week, but a bloody red Sunday. So it could have been much better. Second week in a row that I am facing on horrible day. Most of the bets I did place on Sunday I would place again, which is a good thing. I did think that I did see some value but the betting gods decided otherwise.

In the past week I was again pointed out that one should give the Asian market movements some more respect. Again in one game they did seen illogical, but they were spot on again!

Week 5 results

Not a lot of bets placed. In week 4 I played 32 bets, maybe just a little bit too much. But during week 5 there wasn't a midweek match day in the Jupiler Pro League. My biggest bet was a corner bet of more than 5 units. But I did have faith in it and it didn't disappoint me. Also the odds of 1.63 were pretty decent. Due to this big bet, the average bet of week 5 was the highest for the year so far.

The average odds of 1.91 per bet were also good enough. So overall a decent week.

What is more important for me is that I did turn green for 2021.

Odds Ranges

But not everything is good. There is still a lot of work at the odds range between 1.5 and 1.75.

As you can see alll other odd ranges are in the green. During week 5, the losses in this range did decrease a little bit. But on the other hand week 5 was brutal for probably most important range (1.75 - 2.25). Here a loss was registered of 1.2 units. 10 bets were played in this range and I did record a hit rate if 50%.

Leagues

Another loss for the Jupiler Pro League, what I do consider a personal disappointment. I do know that it doesn't care where you do make your profit, but this is a league in which I should use my in depth knowledge more. I did find a leak which is good. I did place a bet twice. Intentional. This was not a smart move. Just stick with your bet, live or not and wait on it's outcome. Don't increase the bet. This could be a road to nightmare alley!

So overall: a profit was made. YES! 2021 is overall in the green! YES!

Not let's continue on this road. A ROI of 10% is something where I would sign for, week after week!

Cheers,

The 80th Minute!
