Well the challenge did start with a bummer. The initial deposit of 250 TRX was quickly lost. Luckily I did found some leaks in my play, which does explain them on one side and will give me some more insight for the part 2 of the challenge.

I did play with a TRX bookie which also was available via the mobile. This did result into too much bets without euhm thinking or research if I do need to write it down in some nicer words. I was trying to run a sprint while I had a marathon ahead of me. This did result into a rocket start, but the fuel was burned already before the first mile of the marathon was over.

Such a challenge really has to be seen as a marathon.

Countermeasures!

So I was forced to take some countermeasures to avoid (read minimize) the leaks from the first part. This is way I did move the challenge to a bookie which is only available via desktop. This removes the quick bets for a part. But I will not deny that there are still some and probably there will be some of those in the future!

To be exact, I did move the challenge to Wink. This had beside the advantage of above also a small disadvantage. The problem here is that the minimal bet is 100 TRX in stead of 50 TRX. Still I will keep the end goal in first instance on 5K TRX.

Wink also does offer some live tokens while sportsbetting. So each bet does increase my live tokens a little bit, giving me a share of the daily profit.

The stats!

Currently attempt has kicked of, but I am in the green for the moment. This is due to the fact that I am banking more than I did initially plan. I will keep doing this until I do reach a bankroll which allows me at least 10 more attempts. This causes a both side of the story syndrome. Due to the fact that the bankroll tells me that I do have plenty of attempts left, it is possible that I will think that more risky bets are allowed. The other side of the story does give me some rest after a loosing bet. There is no urge to start chasing that attempt, which just gives some kind of rest.

The first attempt did strand at bet number 10. There is no use at looking at the winning bets, but the loosing bets you have to analyse. Was it a bet which I would play again or was it a stupid bet? That is a question which you should ask yourselves after each loosing bet, if the answer is that you would play the bet again, then there is nothing wrong. If you wouldn't play the bet again, one should ask why you did play the bet and learn from it.

The bet which did end attempt one. Was maybe a bet a normally wouldn't play anymore. It was a live bet on the Kerber vs Garcia game. After a break I did think that Kerber would win the specific set but I was wrong. Painfully to crash an attempt with a loosing bet of odds 1.12. Ouch.

Attempt 2 did had a rocket start with 2 bets back to back winning with odds of 1.57! Resulting in a loss of 22 TRX in the attempt. Here the failed bet had odds of 1.16. Doubtful if I would play the bet again. An equalizer in the last minutes of the game really can hurt.

Attempt 3 so far was my best attempt. 176 TRX profit was made and the attempt did strand on bet 11. And this was a bet which I would play time after time again. The lost bet was a live bet on the Juventus - Porto game. The odds for Juventus to qualify where 1.35. Remember that Porto was with a men down after a red card and Juventus was really pushing Porto back to their own goal. With 30 minutes of extra time, this was in my opinion a no brainer. But ... the rest is history. This was also the attempt that I did bank more than I was planned. I didn't want to move up the stake to soon and did was to build up the bankroll.

And it was correct that I did because attempt 4 was a stupid bet and did end after only one attempt.

Currently attempt 5 is 1 bets far. Odds of 1.3 was won. Let's see if attempt 5 can break the record winning streak and if it does, that it isn't followed by again a one bet attempt!

If I would pull the plug from the challenge, which I wont, I would end up with a whopping profit of 127 TRX :). But I do have to admit that I didn't had soo much fun with betting as in the last week!

Cheers,
Peter
