Steven Gerrard joined Aston Villa as the head coach from the Scottish league Rangers after the former coach Dean Smith was sacked because of the team poor performance. Gerrard will be managing his first game as the Manager against Brighton in the English Premier league game over the weekend. Aston Villa is currently on a five game losing streak and they demand a change that was why a change in management was urgently required in order to keep them out of relegation zone.

They had an impressive performance last season as they were able to make it to 11th positions with 55 points in all 38 games but with their recent performance its not certain they could do that but only if their performance change well. But with the new manager their is high possibility they up their game, Aston Villa is currently sitting on the 16th position with 7 loss, 1 draw and 3 win so far and if care is jot taken they may ended up relegating.

Brighton who is their next game is currently in good shape and they have just recorded 2 loss in 11 game played winning 5 and 4 draw, they are very challenging and tough which will not be easy for Asyon Villa to challenge.
