On the day of 26 November Trabzonspor's Italian player Caleb Ekuban's mother passed away. He was sent to Italia for his mother's funeral. After 5 days Trabzonspor had a game against Kayserispor. Trabzonspor's Coach Ünal Karaman said him that if he wants he's not going to be forced to play yet Ekuban chose to play.
On the 74th minute of the game Ekuban replaced with Olcay Şahan, on the 82nd minute Ekuban scored a goal to proud his mother...
After the game he made an interview and said:
"I've lost my mother. It was a hard situation. After her death I did what I had to do. This way could've made her proud."
Trabzonspor won the game with 2-0 score. It's not easy for anyone to work after beloved ones death. Ekuban did what he had to do. Thank you Ekuban!
