Good day/evening guys, it's been a while here and I'm glad to see some old friends keeping it active on scorum. Yeah, I do hop in to make curation and watch out for new active sign ups, but I will try to contribute more often now, especially in terms of writing blogs. Oh, just before I continue, trust you're faring well in this pandemic. Great to hear from you.

As a Barcelona fan, yesterday night was one of those nights in football you wish never comes, but there it was, and nothing anyone could do about it, not even Messi's magic could help the catalan giants. In the spirit of sportsmanship, I extend a warm congratulations to Zidane and Real Madrid on their emergence as the new Laliga champions.

It hasn't been an easy ride for Los Blancos, especially having to come from two points below Barcelona before the break to cling the title. From the look of things, Barcelona is at their nadir and with Champions league hovering in few weeks time, the former Spanish champions have to get themselves together and focus on European glory.

But do you really think that's possible with the way Barcelona are currently playing? I doubt, even the Barca captain have said this time without number. For them to stand a chance in the coming European competition, there is need for total overhaul. Falling to a disappointing 2-1 defeat at the Camp Nou yesterday night portrayed how unready Setien and his team are, ahead of their Champions league outing.

Well, Laliga is over now and can't be reversed. However, the Catalan giants need to renew their motivation and keep their head up for what's coming. Setien needs to reassess his options and talk to the squad. If Barca go into the champions league with this morale, then I'm afraid of the worst.
