Good evening football fans, I trust we had an awesome weekend? Except you're a Liverpool fan. 😋 Of course we've seen some interesting and shocking results this weekend, ranging from Wolves beating Mourinho's Tottenham 3-2 earlier today, and the almost invincible Klopp's Liverpool subjected to a shocking 3-0 defeat in the hands of Watford yesterday. But then, that's football and it's results like this that makes this game the best in the world. So today, I'm gonna be briefly talking about the big fixture coming up on the 3rd of March between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stanford Bridge. This is a game most fans are already looking forward to, especially considering how both teams need this win to boost their morale. For Liverpool, it's an opportunity to restate their commitment to lifting the league as early as possible and of course boost their confidence ahead of their Champions league second leg clash with Athletico Madrid at Anfield.

Having conceded 6 goals in their last three games across all competitions, there is a need for the European Champions to mend their cracks before welcoming Diego Simeone's side. With the defeat to Watford having exposed the current instability in their backline, Klopp will hope to not concede against the Blues while charging his attack to be as lethal as never before. For Chelsea, this is certainly not a game to lose. The blues are still trying to recover from the 3-0 humiliation they suffered in the hands of Bayern in their Champions league round of 16 first leg. Lampard's side who couldn't secure a win against a resilient Bournemouth side on Saturday, will not leave any stone unturned in upsetting Liverpool, as they are under pressure by Manchester United on the table. A win on Tuesday will certainly go a long way to calm their nerves and I think they won't have any excuse not to finish top four.

My Prediction: CHELSEA 1-2 LIVERPOOL
