The UEFA champions league is back again after a long transitional break from the group stage. Indeed, the boys have been separated from the men and it's time to know who are the real contenders for this edition's most prestigious tournament in Europe(we can argue this later). Which match are you gonna be interested in tomorrow? For me, It seems I will be fixing my attention in the tough clash between a highflying Borussia Dortmund side and a fire-breathing PSG side. The game will be going down at the Signal iduna in Germany, home of Dortmund. It's always a beautiful spectacle to watch a game in this stadium, apart from the frenzy that comes with the match itself, the yellow-black Fanbase has a way of adding a magnificent colour to the stadium. Dortmund picked a spot in the knockout stage ahead of Inter from Group F where they had to qualify with 10 points after winning 3 games, drawing 1 and losing 2. They were lucky that Barca second 11 defeated Inter Milan. But that's in the past now, the German side appear all fired up going into this game, and I don't see the French champions having a rollercoaster ride at Signal Iduna park tomorrow.

Dortmund is coming off a 4-0 win over Frankfurt in their last league match after suffering a back-to-back defeats in the hands of Bayer Leverkusen and Bremen. The last time both teams went against each other was in 2010 and non of them was able to secure a win in both legs. If there is anything PSG should be wary of, it should be the presence of Haaland, taking an eye off him could be a big mistake they will regret. At the other end is a firebrand PSG side who are coming with blood in their eyes after being eliminated by Manchester United in the last edition. The French Champions are not leaving any stone unturned in their quest to lift the UEFA trophy, hence, they benched some of their star players in their last league game against Amiens. PSG booked a spot in the round of 16 after qualifying as group A leaders with 16 points. They registered 5 wins with 1 draw, showing they are here for no jokes. It's definitely not gonna be easy for both sides, but I don't see PSG losing the game either. Home advantage will be a huge bonus for Dortmund.

My Prediction: Dortmund 2-2 PSG
