PSG has continued their fine form this season by recording yet another sumptuous 4-1 win against their host Nice on Friday. The league champions are not leaving any stone unturned in their quest to exert unmatched dominance in the French Lique 1. It's 24 points from 10 games for Thomas Tuchel's side already this season to tentatively stay five points above Nantes who are second on the log, though with 9 games. The league champions have won eight games so far and have recorded two defeats this season, but it seems they won't be letting that act as a cog in the wheel for them.

No doubt, they are at the top of their game so far and appears all shades of contenders for the Champions league, especially after their flawless victory over Zinedane Zidane's Real Madrid some weeks ago. It was a thrilling weekend fixture that saw PSG outsmart their opponents and were already two goals up before halftime, thanks to the in form Angel Dimaria's brace that gave the visitors a somewhat edge in the game. The Argentine pacy winger has been PSG's star man so far this season and has stepped up to fire up the squad especially in the absence of Mbappe, Cavani and Neymar. Against Madrid in the Champions league, he was the man of the match after slotting in a brace against his former club, helping PSG cruise to a 3-0 victory over the former European Champions.

Angel Di Maria currently has 4 goals in the French Lique 1, that's 3 goals behind the Nigerian Lille Striker Osimhen who is the league's top scorer so far with Seven goals, little wonder the likes of Barcelona are beginning to consider his as a possible target. It was just 15 minutes when PSG took the lead after Dante went all out for the ball, throwing himself in to win the ball, but unfortunately it missed him and found the pacy legs of Angel Di Maria. The Argentine did what he knows how to do best, scale away with the ball to open up a one on one chance with a helpless Benitez who could do nothing to stop him from burying the ball at the bottom left corner of the net. It was the visitors first goal of the night and it meant a lot to them. It didn't take much long for them to press for a second goal, of course, it was Di Maria again who came knocking. He netted the second goal at the 21st minute to give the league champions a 2-0 advantage at halftime.

You wouldn't bother abouta Neymar's injury when you have a deadly player like Di Maria that is in unbridled form. But then, the Visitors pulled one back at 67th minute to make it 2-1, thanks to Ganago who netted the goal. It was as if we the game will get back its lost suspence and tension, but a second yellow card for Wylan Cyprien at the 74th minute meant that the host had to play with one man down against a team like PSG. To add salt to injury, another player got sent at the 77th minute to further lower their chances of equalizing the goal and perhaps go home with a point. It didn't take long after that seen for PSG to introduce the Viper and seal off the game. Kylian Mbappe who just came back from injury was introduced at the 82nd minute to replace Sarabia. It didn't take long for the French wonder kid to announce his presence and make it 3-1 for the Visitors. At this point, Nice knew it was already over and Icardi crowning the night with PSG's fourth goal did little or no harm to the host.
