Good day my people in the Federal Republic Of Scorum. There is certainly no gainsaying that the only thing that matters to humanity now is surviving the current surge of Covid-19, which has put the entire universe on edge for the past few months. The overwhelming effect of the virus on global economy has no doubt forced corporations to lay off some of their employees, and in the Sport sector, clubs have already implemented salary cuts on their players in order to survive this unforeseen contingencies. Yeah, it's been a little while I dropped by here to curate or make some blogs, however, I will try my possible best to continue enjoying this platform as long as it lasts. Glad to see some of us still hanging around here, doing what you know how to do best. Not to digress further, let's get back to the subject of the blog.
So these past weeks, we've been hearing and reading headlines about former Nigerian International Odiong Ighalo being offered a two year contract extension worth more than £400,000 per week by his Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua. The offer has continued to generate dusts in the media as fans, analysts etc. are not leaving any stone unturned in their reactions. While many have advocated for the 32 year old to accept the Chinese offer and bow out of Old Trafford due to the money, others are of the view that Ighalo will be happier playing for United than playing in China. No doubt, the former Watford striker has always made known his delight in playing for United, stating numerous times that wearing a United shirt has always been his childhood dream. Here he is, on six months loan at United and already proving his mettle in the absence of Rashford. The 30 year old has scored couple of goals already and few assist to light up United's sudden motivation. The fans are beginning to like him and Ole has minced no words in making his admiration for the forward known. As a football lover, what's your opinion on this, would advice Ighalo to go for the money, or stay at Old Trafford where he is passionate and fight for a space?
