One of the football stars that was hit by the most deadly virus today is Blaise Matuidi. The Juventus midfielder is showing his profound appreciation to Health Workers for the good job they have been doing since the beginning of the new Covid-19 virus.

There have been quite a number of players who for the most part, making gestures of recognition and solidarity to health workers in the war against the Coronavirus. This is the case of Matuidi who made the announcement earlier today. Matuidi, through his charity organization, Tremplins Blaise Matuidi will be offering 50,000 masks to Hospital of Paris-Hospital of France and one other organization

“At our levels, we can be additional shields for the (heroes of the fight against the virus) to defend against the worst and to cooperate for the best. It is with this in mind that I wanted to provide them with 50,000 masks. This donation is as much a sign of recognition as of admiration for their devotion, "said the Juventus midfielder in a statement. Other Nursing homes which are hard hit by the virus will also benefit from the donation, concludes Matuidi.

It will be recalled that I wrote on my blog the other day that the ace midfielder has been on 14-day isolation before an additional 2 weeks was added to prolong his confinement. He has since been declared Coronavirus free by his club, Juventus on 15th April. Matuidi has a history of selfless gestures and this is just one of the many he has been doing through the years with his Foundation.

Sincerely @izge.
