Romanian coach Razvan Lucescu, who is currently in charge of the Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki, got a 28,000 euro fine for raising controversy in his comments.
Speaking to Romanian media, the 49-year-old compared deduction of his team's points last season with what happened in Nazi Germany.
"I think that in the history of sport and football, this happened only during Hilter’s Germany. I never remember a similar situation," said the son of a famous coach Mircea Lucescu.
Last season, the Greek football authorities deducted three points from PAOK for fan violence. In the end, they finished as runners-up in the Greek Super Leaguem, six points shy of the champions AEK Athens.
