The Premier League announced the winner in the voting for the title of the best footballer in September.

According to the results of the voting, Chelsea’s forward Eden Hazard got the prize. He scored five goals in the Premier League matches for the last month. The Belgian scored two goals in the matches against Bournemouth (2:0) and Liverpool (1:1). He also made a hat-trick in the match with Cardiff City (4:1). The only club that didn’t suffer from Hazard in September was West Ham United. There was a tie (0:0).

Chelsea currently ranks second in the Premier League standings, having 20 points, as many as Manchester City and Liverpool do.
