On Sunday night, December 13, I was watching the Arsenal vs Burnley match. The match ended 0 - 1 making it four consecutive losses at home for Arsenal in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign. This is the worst start for Arsenal in decades.

Arsenal's performance so far has been disastrous and a disappointment to all fans worldwide.

After the final whistle of the Arsenal vs Burnley match, a Chelsea fan asked "why una still dey supot Arsenal self?" meaning why do we still support Arsenal after years of disappointment. A good question which no answer fan in the viewing center responded to.

I have been an Arsenal fan for as long as I started to watch international club football. I have never loved any other club as much. I go into every match, every season with the hope of a better performance than the previous, but most times than not I end up been disappointed. At this moment, I should be already used to it, but it seems otherwise.

I was so disappointed at the Arsenal vs Burnley result that it kept me thinking why I still support such a club. But no reasonable answer popped up. I guess that's what real love is. You stick with each other in both happy times and difficult moments.

I will keep supporting Arsenal for as long I still love football. I only hope their performance improves or I get completely immune to the disappointments.
