Arsenal won Southampton again from 1goal down to beat Southampton 3-1. Thanks to Lacazette, Saka and Pepe has their captain Aubameyang didn't travel with them.
ARSENAL has been struggling and it seems they are gaining back their momentum with a third back-to-back away victory This season, prior to the tie, since 1997, Arsenal are yet to beat Southampton in straight 2 away games but broke the record has they defeated them making it a 2 away winning streak at St. Mary.
Does this mean that Arsenal football club is back to their top-notch performance with this heightened performance they are showing up of late or was the victory a normal one.
Southampton in the past 11 games are yet to beat the Gunners as they've previously drew 4 and lost 6 to the Gunners, so could this be a tradition that just continued and not like Arsenal is not at their best.
Statistically, Southampton own the night but Arsenal converted and won the game, could it be Fatigue or just luck not being on the Southampton team with them enjoying about 58% ball possession, having higher passes and Pass accuracy against a possession dominating team like Arsenal. They played more shot though more were off targets with a levelled 6 on targets shots yet they were unable to convert them.
We can't be so sure with Southampton's performance that Arsenal is back, let's watch and see their performance at the weekend and subsequently.
