Juventus suffered a very disappointing 1-0 defeat when they took on Benevento in Serie A game at home in Turin. It was just another disappointment to the list in a season that has certainly not developed as Juventus had hoped when they give Andrea Pirlo the job as coach this summer. The Italian giant has won the championship nine years in a row, but they must be true that it will not be the tenth as they are a full ten points behind Inter in the table.
Coaches who have won the Seria A at Juventus have been fired and with the early exit from the Champions League against FC Porto, the poor ranking in the league and the embarrassing result, Pirlo's position has been questioned but the director of Juventus Fabio Paratici stated today in an interview with Italian Sky Sports that Pirlo is not going anywhere:
According to Pirlo: We played a bad match no doubt and we have to keep our heads down and keep working. We started a project here last season and a match is not going to change our view of our strategy. We continue the line we have laid and we are satisfied with what we have achieved, We just have to keep improving.
