Since is amazing performance with Napoli is 2015/16 season when he found the back of the next 36 times in Italian Seria A, Gonzalo Higuain is finding it hard to regain his scoring boot once again. Higuain has been in and out of form couple with injury worries since then but unable to make a come back. Higuain struggle throughout last season for AC Milan and Chelsea where he spent each half of the season on loan with only 9 goals to show for it in 29 appearances for both sides. He managed to net on 5 goals for the north London club but it wasn’t enough to retain him in Frank Lampard squad.

Higuain who will be 31 next season is being rumored to join Italian side for £9m loan deal and a clause of £27m permanent transfer at the end of next season.

Higuain joined another Italian Seria A side Juventus after a wonderful season in Napoli where he score 38 goals over all and 16 goals on three games a year later for Juventus became an integral member of the team but with Paulo Dybal and Cristiano Ronaldo all now in the squad, Higuain is now surplus to requirement and needs to be shipped out.

Higuian has been adamant to leave Juventus and has requested a contract extension till 2023 with Juventus but was given a condition that his wage will be cut by half to £4. There option didn’t go down well with him and is now preparing a move to join AS Roma on loan with a captaincy band promise.

In coming days, we all going to see if Gonzalo Higuain will accept the loan deal or remain at Juventus to compete for a place Maurizio Sarri squad with half of his wages gone.
