Yesterday the media was filled with young coach Frank Lampard's decision to sell one of his most influential, experience and senior player to a fellow North London rival club just for a petty £8million. This decision to offload David Luiz was a big surprise to many as the player has been quit supportive to the coach. Taking such decision at the deadline day of the season transfer day with no media speculation begs the question on what must have transpired between the two players who were once on a pitch together.

However, made l made a most yesterday insinuating that power play must have been the main reason why Luiz had to go. Long before now, Chelsea has broken their keeping over 30 years old players in the club which isn't the reason Luiz had to go.

.....

David Luiz is a player with so much charisma, influences both on and off the pitch that can go any length to do what he want without given listening ear to the coach when his mind is made up. He tried it with big coaches like Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte. So Lampard feared that should he kept Luiz in his team, things might turn around and the coach will be at the receiving end.

....

Frank Lampard was quoted as saying during his press release why he let the Brazilian international to go.

"I watch how the players train, I watch how the players react in the dressing room, how the spirit is. And then I have to make decisions. And I have to try and create a squad that is in the image of what I want.

An in dept study of this statement by any fan who has followed the activities of the club for years now will agree with me that Lampard was running away from his fears.

.....

No matter how Lampard may paint the picture, he cannot deny the fact that deep down inside him, he saw Luiz as a player that may undermine him at the helm. Chelsea a notorious of their player ganging up against their coach which Lampard can't deny he never involved in such during his stay at the Bridge. Like Pep Guardiola who is known to remove every player that challenge his authority, Lampard may be following this like to ensure de doesnt regret anything when the hammer lands on him for under performance.

....

Why it is good we learn from others mistake and avoid them as possible not to regret some of our decisions later as well show enough professionalism in what we do, Lampard may have tactically denied this fact before the camera. The most important thing in the mind of the Chelsea faithful his a good performence and it doesn't matter whose is affected or not. Hopefully, Lampard is going to do wonderful with the lads in his team despite he is handicapped ti sign players.
