A few days ago, Juventus crashed out off the Uefa Champions League, after a 2-2 draw on aggregate with French-side, Lyon.
With the exit from the Champions League, Juventus sacked head coach Mauricious Sarri. A couple of days ago ex-international Andrea Pirlo was employed as head coach.
Some days after his employment, Pirlo is setting the stage and making clear his needed options.
Aaron Ramsey – Not an option
Aaron Ramsey has just made 11 starts, since his arrival at Turin. Putting into consideration the effect of his presence and his weekly wage, Boss Andrea Pirlo regards him as a surplus.
Ramsey’s present contract entitles him to 250,000 pounds a week wage. Obviously, the present performance of the Welshman, does not justify the amount.
Andrea Pirlo taking no chances
Asides making clear his intention to offload Ramsey, present Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo has further listed potential players who may be shown the exit door.
In the list, the likes of Sammy Khedira, Gonzalo Huguain and Danielle Rugani may as well be given their matching orders.
According to recent reports, Real Madrid playmaker Isco is being considered by Pirlo as a potential addition to bolster the squad.
From the new mangers words, he views the Champions League experience of Isco as a major benefit to the team.
Conclusion
Despite not having any first-team coaching experience, Pirlo has proven he is not shy of making decisions and speaking his mind.
Nonetheless, his chances of success and failure would unfold with time.
