Juventus midfielder Adrian Rabiot has refused to report to training. His decision was made in protest to salary cut-down by Juventus amid COVID-19 crisis.

Currently, Rabiot has chosen to remain in France, where he is on isolation.

This move has raised doubt on the midfielder's future with Juve. Rabiot has just spent a few months in Juve, and his future is looking blur already.

In a bid to protect themselves from financial crises, Juve cut salaries of players. Based on available stat, a sum of £7million was removed from his £28million salary.

However, the salary cut hasn’t been met by a pleasant response from the Frenchman. He has taken extra holidays and has refused to report to training in response.

Although, it was reported the players all agreed to defer wages. Nonetheless, recent reports have shown that was not the exact cause.

Juventus players are back at Turin. Light training has begun, and social distancing measures are being implemented. Yet Rabiot remains furious over lowered wages.

Reports emerging from trusted sources say he was convinced by his mum to take the stand. As it stands his mum remains his agent.

Although they have been approached by a number of newspapers, Juventus have chosen to remain silent on the issue.

Knowing Rabiot once played at PSG. Does Adrian Rabiot’s decision support the statement rebels are made in PSG?
