The game of football is witnessing the growth of many young players and this we can prove in the way different clubs are feeding in some of their academy graduates. Chelsea football is one of the top clubs in Europe to limit the fact, that is well recognised for having young talented players in their academy and due to the fact that they were not allow to bring in new players in the summer, they had no choice than to give some of their young academy graduates the chances to prove themselves and Billy Gilmour is not an exception. The fact that the club was banned in the summer transfer last year seems to be a blessing in disguise because on a normal ground, players like Mount, Abraham and James wouldn't have gotten the privilege to be in the team and these are players that has contributed their quota this season for the club and the inclusion of Billy Gilmour is another way to appreciate the banned impose on the team because if not, there is no how player like Gilmour will be selected for matchday.

It has become the tradition of the club to be producing football graduates and later loan them out to another club for playing time despite all the efforts of these players to play for their parent club, i can still remember when players like Piazon and Josh McEachran were doing greatly in the developmental team and all their efforts to break in into the senior team went in vain because players like Lampard, Essien and Ballack were bossing the midfield with Drogba up front. Watching Billy recently against Hull City shows that the young midfielder can became the master of the Blues midfield if only he will get the adequate time needed by the club. Gilmour is a Scottish player who started is football career in Rangers back in 2009 before joining Chelsea academy in 2017 and marked his debut with the under 18 with a goal against Arsenal before signing his professional contract with the club in 2018. It wasn't a mistake that the club manager who so much believe in young players gave him his gull debut in the EFL against Grimsby Town in a game that ended 7-1 in favour of the Blues.

It will be very nice to see the club giving him the chance and more playing time because that is all he needs to develop fully into a player like Xavi in the midfield, Gilmour was once described by Caixinha who managed him at Ranger as a bright future and looking at his performance against Hull City, Gilmour has all what the first choice in the midfield has in terms of dribble, pass and tackle but he can only attain the height at the club if he will not be treated like Piazon and McEachran which will also be somehow difficult because it will be very hard to play him ahead of players like Jorginho, Mount, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek in the midfield but if he can be sent out on loan to a club where he can have enough playing time, it will be of benefit for the club when he fully developed.

I hope you find this post interesting and educating until then I remain my humble self @oxygen02. Thanks For Reading👍
