It was a moan day for Real Madrid and some of their new signing when they play Bayern Munich in the ICC cup. It was their first outing in their pre season tour and they lost 3-1 to Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich. If there is a team many people are really waiting to watch in the fast approaching new season, definitely it is real Madrid with the club so much busy in the transfer market trying to strengthen their squad and successfully secured the services of players like Eden Hazard from Chelsea, Jovic from Ajax and many more.

Real Madrid manager Zidane named a strong squad for that particular encounter and everybody was waiting for a positive display and positive result for a team that have players like Thibaut Courtois, Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Isco, Asensio, Hazard and Karim Benzema in the line up

Although, it was made to be an entertaining match between both clubs, Madrid came out in 4-2-3-1 formation with Hazard and Asensio starting from the flank while Benzema was upfront to do the attacking job, Isco played as Central attacking midfielder while Kroos and Modric played behind. About 60,000 spectators were present to watch the two champion while many really came to see what Eden Hazard has to offer his new team.

Real Madrid take full control of the first half despite going down 1 nil to Bayern before the half break, Corentin Tolisso put Bayern ahead in just 15 minutes into the game when he fired a rebound to the top corner of the net after Benzema effort was denied. Despite the fact that Bayern was leading in the game, Real Madrid dominated the match in the first half with the likes of Hazard showing good moves with the ball and sending messages to LA Liga clubs with his dribbling.

The second half begins and both clubs made some changes, with Bayern making 5 changes and Madrid making 11 changes, this really kill the attacking force of Madrid and Bayern capitalized on it when Robert Lewandowski received a long pass and dribble past Adrian before sending the ball past Madrid goal keeper Navas.

Two minutes later after Lewandowski goal, former Arsenal player Serge Gnabry changed the scoreline to 3-0 when he took advantage of poor defensive play from the Madrid defenders and fire home his effort.

Thanks to Rodrygo one of the new arrival at the club for the consolidation goal in the 84 minutes for the Los Blancos which also resulted in Bayern Munich goal keeper Ulreich been sent off. Rodrygo scored the consolidation goal from a free kick that went to the top corner of the net.

This Goes To Madrid

Hey Madrid! In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity, it is just a pre season game and I believe both the manager and the players will be working on their weaknesses ahead of the new season because to whom much is given, much is expected.
