In this series by Scorum-fans, we will bring the football news from across Europe. Premier League in England, La-Liga in Spain, Bundes Liga in Germany, Serie A in Italy and Ligue 1 in France is considered as the top five football legaue in Europe.

Premier League:

The most awaited game in premier league was a match between Tottenham and Manchester City and the didn't turn out to be exciting one in an ugly pitch after Sunday's NFL match. City won it by 1-0, the only goal in the match scored by Mahrez in 6th minute. Mourinho has something to cheer about as they won against Everton by 2-1, and once again, Martial and Pogba were star of the match. Both Chelsea and Liverpool dominated their respective matches. But the surprising result was for Arsenal as Crystal Palace ended their winning run. Arsenal victory of 11 matches in all tournament came to an end after they played 1-1 against Palace.

After Leicester and West Ham game, the helicopter of the Leicester's owner crashed in the car parking as soon as it took off. Leicester's owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha lost his life in this unfortunate incident.

Serie A

In Serie A, the Juventus dominance continues as they won 9th game of the season against Empoli. Juventus were behind in the first half but the brilliance of Ronaldo sealed the game for them in second half by 2-1. Inter won 3-0 away to fourth placed Lazio to move to the second while Napoli dropped to third after drawing to Roma. Only 1 point seperate 5th placed Fiorentina and 11th place Genoa with game between Milan and Genoa yet to be played.

LaLiga

It was El Clásico week in Spain, a first without both Ronaldo and Messi in 10 years. As expected, Barcelona thrashed Madrid by 5-1, and as a result Madrid sacked Julen Lopetegui. Santiago Solari is caretaker of Madrid for now. With this loss, Real Madrid is down to 9th with just 14 points from 10 matches. They won just 4 matches and lost 4 matches. Barcelona after the win have moved to the top of the table with 21 points. All Deportivo Alaves, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid won their respective matches to be within 2 points of Barcelona.

Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund are still in the top of the table despite playing 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin. Englilsh youngster Jadon Sancho got the both goal for Dortmund. Bayern Munich won against Mainz 05 to move to the second place. Borussia Mönchengladbach dropped to second after loosing to Freiburg. In the 8 goal thriller, Werder Bremen lost to Bayer Leverkusen by 2-6 goals.

Ligue 1

Paris Saint Germain is yet to loose any point in France and they defeated Marseille as Mbappe and Draxler hit the target. Lille are 8 points behind the Chamapion PSG and they defeated Caen by 1-0 this week. Thierry Henry is yet to win his first match for Monaco as Monaco is struggling in relegation zone with 7 points after drawing with Dijon this week. Montpellier and Lyon won their respective games to be within European qualification region.
