Juventus F.C. was the first football team in the world (and for now also the only one) to be the protagonist of a television series broadcast worldwide, focused entirely on the game of football and in particular on one team.
This mini series, made of six episodes and broadcast by NETFLIX called "First Team: Juventus", narrates the events involving Juventus players during the 2017-2018 season, the season in which the team won the seventh consecutive championship and the his fourth consecutive Italian Cup. In this series the part of the football played is left aside, while the personal events of the individual players are given ample space during the sports season. It also highlights the glorious, over a century old history of this Turin-based team (Italy), founded by young Turinese students in 1897 and which has become one of the strongest and best known teams in the world.
The criticism was very positive towards this docu-series, the first of this kind, praising the high level of implementation put in place by NETFLIX, and has been much appreciated by the public worldwide.
