Aston Villa won against Derby County 2:1 today. It's not like I am turning on on scorum, but someone predicted outcome and correct score 10 days before in his preview here .

Aston Villa was better side most of the game until scoring second goal. Then Derby boss Lampard made some changes and Derby players transformed from peaceful defending rams to hungry wolves, but could score only 1 goal until full time.

Grealish and El Ghazi were key players in this game. El Ghazi scored first goal after great inner box escape from Derby defender just before half time. Worst time to concede, but things became worse in second half as Derby goal keeper hugs head of Villa player instead of ball and watched the ball entered his net for 2:0. He should punch the ball away not try to hug it, he knows that now but now it's to late.

Then Derby boss made some changes and Villa decided to defend lead which did not go to well. They tried few counter attacks, but were unable to make clear chance despite El Ghazi's good dribbling and running. On the other hand Derby attacked with through balls, made some chances but missed final shot at goal. Then in one scramble in the box Villa player staid on the grass and Derby players finished easily attacking action for 2:1.

In the rest of the game they tried but those crosses were easy balls for Villa goal keeper. It was interesting until the end, but result did not change. Birmingham deserved to have one club in Premier League, famous club returned to top league again and will for sure try to stay there as long as it can. If they hold Grealish, El Ghazi and striker Abraham and increase defense, duel play and defending set pieces they could stay in league next season. They don't lack skill for sure.
