Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane in fight for golden boot

After pathetic performance of Tottenham players against Aston Villa where Spurs failed to create single chance for Harry Kane to score goal I lost all hope he could get golden boot this season. However in unexpected turn of events Mo Salah from Liverpool didn't score any goal against Burnley in 3:0 victory too and race for golden boot is still open. They both scored 22 goals in this season so far. So who will win it ?

Liverpool is facing Crystal Palace at home. It's not to strong team, but team which can be tough to beat. Liverpool is in big battle for Champions League and must win this one! Tottenham on other side is playing Leicester who is also in fight for Champions League place. It's much tougher opponent with one very good goalkeeper like Kasper Schmeichel. Tottenham has no motivation in this game except to maybe finish above Arsenal. However that would bring them Europa Conference League next season which I think they would like to avoid. Tottenham as club is shaken with every day speculations about future of Harry Kane who said in interview with Tottenham hating channel sky sport that he'd like to play with De Brune because some of his passes are striker's dream. Chairman D. Levy felt disrespected and insulted by this interview and is keen to hold Harry Kane. Atmosphere in team must be also toxic.

Liverpool has other advantage too. They have much better coach than Tottenham. He'd never tolerate underperforming prick in his squad. I consider Kane for better player and want him to win golden boot, but must notice that Salah has better coach and better team mates than Kane. He has Mane who can always send ball for him to create him chance, while Kane has Son who was great in first part of season but not so good in this calendar year. Salah has Firmino who is great and unselfish, while Kane has Bale who wants to finish most of actions by himself. Salah has also other big advantage which is fact that he has no plonker like Winks, who is big obstacle in moving ball on other half, in squad.

All above is saying Salah will take it easily, but football is sometimes unpredictable and Kane could still surprise. If only his teammates would like to play football tomorrow, if coach would let Lo Celso or N'Dombele to play instead of Winks and if Kane would stop returning to center for balls and spend more time in and around box anything could happen. I still think he might play for Spurs next season if Levy can bring world class playmaker and superb fast dribblers left and right from him. If he could assemble team which could make Kane 2-3 chances per game I can sign he'd score 50 goals next season in his favorite shirt!
