I know it's not the perfect time to write this or spread negativity before important derby game, but last news were just to shocking if truth. Non so successful chairman installed by ENIC many years ago just earned 500,000 more than last year. Daniel gave himself and other members of the board pay-rise. Information from British Telegraph and journalist Matt Law came day after information saying Daniel Levy was "driving force" in signing Everton player Richarlison. Those news really triggered me again just after I forgot miserable 30 million transfer budget for January.

Goal was probably to show how personally interested and involved he is in football, how he has nose to smell troubles of other owners to grab quality players from them while they are in crises etc... Point was to tell fans how good he is. A lot of fans including myself didn't see The Ahtletics article because it's not free to read, but understood from free published fragments that it means he is still in charge of footballing activities in this club, that he is making all football buy/sell extend contract with player decisions and doing "opportunistic buying" spending limited resources just because it's good chance to get someone and not because coach, football director wanted this to happen or consider that position of backup striker the most crucial in team full of leaks and average players in first eleven. Cherry on top of that was new information from yesterday about salary rise! I don't know but I read Tottenham is not exactly the richest part of London, but more likely the opposite where some riots started in the past. I don't know if you knew but he was already chairman with the biggest salary among all of them. So why this salary rise ? Why all that bad publicity before derby game ? Is it published by Chelsea journalist fans to destabilize us before derby ?

Who is doing PR stuff for this man ? "Driving force" behind buying of player who scored literally 0 goals in EPL this season and who is more injured that fit and heavily overpaid and whose main position is striker so he can be only backup to Harry Kane. or play out of position instead of Son or Dejan ? Or was he planned to substitute Kane after Daniel cash him out in the summer ? I really hope it's not last one. It looks like he is smiling in fan's face. In faces of fans hungry for trophies. He recently also talked about extreme sports facilities under South Stand ?! Was it attempt to tell between lines if you get to desperate for trophies you can try to kill yourself after the game ? I hope not!

Driving force of "opportunistic buying" because there is a chance and not because coach or DoF wanted it which spent 50 or 60 million on that position and end up with Lenglet on loan on LCB with salary of 140,000 per week. Then when team concede number of goals like it's fighting to avoid relegation it's coach, it's tactics, it's not Davies, Dier, ageing Lloris or free sub called slow motion Forster. Three defenders in center are suddenly to many we should try with two. LoL! "It was more of an opportunistic buying than consequence of one year of scouting!" That's what The Athletic article told us! If I am that driving force I would try to hide that and certainly wouldn't give myself salary increase.

I can understand he wants to run Tottenham like self sustained club. Not sure how successful this club can be in terms of winning trophies with so many oiled clubs with unlimited founds, but can live with that if Daniel Levy answer good on this questions:

  1. How big profit in cache football club earned in 2021/22 season (including non football activities on stadium and how much from those activities alone) ?
  2. Are you ready to spend all that profit plus money from sold players in increasing quality of football team in transfer windows (like you promised in interview) ?
  3. Will you finally stop with "opportunistic buying" of "club signings" or "one for future" type of players unless you are paying them from your private pocket ?
  4. Are you going to give coach 3 year time to implement his vision ?
  5. Do you plan to sell players you are currently sending on loan even if that mean getting less money than what you payed for them ?

If answer on first question is lower than 100 million, or answer on any of following is no resign, call Joe and arrange takeover with some clean billionaire who is not planning to run "self sustained" club or to sell Kane and buy striker from Iran. We need cash to support coach and little footballing ambition in next 3-4 years while Harry Kane is still playing top class football!
