Robert Lewandowski scored 4 goals against Red Star in Belgrade

Recently Tottenham came to Belgrade to bring "super nova" phenomenon. For those who don't know that is when giant star is dying and explode because of gravitational collapse. Fans didn't even recover from that and German giant Bayern Munich came to repeat things in even more spectacular explosion. Red Star lost 0:6 against enraged Bayern and world class striker Robert Lewandowski scored incredible 4 goals in just 14 minutes and took well deserved ball home. He also missed few chances in first half.

When Bayern annihilated Tottenham in London with 2:7 I was impressed with his performance. It looked like he has some shield around him which blocks Spurs defenders. During that game, I don't know why, I had association on German ace pilot from World War I Manfred von Richthofen well known under his pilot nickname "Red Baron". Association came probably because he looked like merciless killer of club on other side.

We knew he can score a lot of goals when he has his evening, but last night in Belgrade he pushed that to whole new level. Scoring 4 goals in just 14 minutes is just amazing. English commentator asked himself "Is he ever going to stop scoring goals ?". Some former and present players like G. Lineker or C. Austin tweeted in adoration "You are real striker sir". Indeed he is. When he smell blood of other side he is merciless. When this guy scores first goal you are doomed if you play against him. Your're going to find him behind you on tail shooting(scoring) at your plane(goal) for rest of the game. LoL

This game opens other question is this type of qualification for Champions League right ? Path of champions and league path can bring juveniles in Europe's highest competition, while maybe better clubs went out in qualification because of clash in league path. I am afraid UEFA is now thinking again on closing this main competition to the richest clubs called by them no matter where they were on league table which would be wrong. Goal should be to bring the best clubs in competition, but champion of every country should have chance to qualify.

How inferior Red Star was in this game can tell you tweet from one Serbian journalist who tweeted "You touch the ball Manuel Neuer!" delighted I guess with fact that Red Star made some shot on Neuer's goal which forced him to gather the ball. That was bombardment all night long and it is real luck it ended with only 0:6. Thanks for not seeing LOTO win (7 goals) should go to Bayern coach who substituted Robert Lewandowski before the end, VAR which denided one goal by Lewandowski, Red Star goalkeeper Borjan and bar. Red Star goal keeper Borjan said after the game "We should look each other in eyes and tell we are not good enough for this competition". It's true, but believe or not Red Star still has chance to be third in group if they can get point in last game against Olympiacos.

For the end I can just repeat Charlie Austin's tweet "Sir you are true striker!". Well done Robert I hope you still have room in your flat for all those hat trick balls. We had privilege to watch one of the best strikers in the world despite he is over 30. You can watch highlights here.
