2020 was an absolute disaster for all sporting events. The likes of the Olympics, the Fifa World Cup, the Euros were all postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. In such times, there were some footballers who managed to impress. We are here to take a look at all those wonderkids who are destined to be future world champions.

FORMATION : 4-3-3 B

GOALKEEPER : GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA

The Rossoneri are undergoing a tough few seasons but that is not stopping the 21 year old from showcasing his talents. The Italian international has kept 9 clean sheets in 24 games this season which considering Milan's current form has been quite exceptional. A move to a top tier club such as Bayern, Real or Chelsea would really establish and further his career.

RIGHT BACK : TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD

The English full back has played a pivotal role for Liverpool in the Premier League this season. Regarded by Cafu and Gary Neville as "The Greatest full back of all time", the man should he consider to stay at Liverpool would be regarded as an icon for generations to come.

LEFT BACK : BUKAYO SAKA

The Englishman has been a shining light despite of his team's fortunes. The 17 year old in under a season has managed to gain interest from the likes of Dortmund, Leicester City and Manchester City. Should Arsenal fail to qualify for the Europa League, Saka may move on to bigger pastures.

CENTRE BACK : DAYOT UPAMECANO

The French defender from RB Leipzig has improved drastically under Julian Nagelsmann. He is often attributed as the next Alessandro Nesta. Arsenal and Manchester United are said to be the frontrunners in the race for his signature.

CENTRE BACK : OZAN KABAK

The Turkish born defender has really impressed for Schalke this season. The 20 year old has already made 50 appearances for the Turkey youth team and is likely to become a regular starter for the national team too.

DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER : SANDRO TONALI

The Italian has become a regular starter for Brescia in the Serie-A and the national team. He is tipped to be the next Andrea Pirlo. A transfer to the Nerrazurri (Inter Milan) seems to be really close and would really further his career.

DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER : FEDERICO VALVERDE

The Uruguayan has established himself as a proper replacement of Luka Modric. He is at the helm of one of the biggest clubs in the world and would most likely stay till his retirement. Zinedine Zidane believes that he can reach his full potential at Real Madrid.

ATTACKING MIDFIELDER : KAI HAVERTZ

Kai Havertz is considered to be the 21st century's most promising attacking midfielder and has immense potential. He is valued by Bayer Leverkusen at more than a 100 million Euros. A move to either Chelsea or Manchester United seems likely but several clubs are reported to be interested.

CENTRE FORWARD : ERLING BRAUT HAALAND

The monstrous Norwegian has destroyed defences with his amazing goal-scoring ability after scoring in 5 consecutive Champions League games which include 2 hat-tricks. He is destined to be one of the most dangerous forwards in football history. Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United are said to be in the race for his signature.

RIGHT WING FORWARD : JADON SANCHO

Considered to be one of the most dangerous wide forwards in the history of the game, Sancho is tipped to be a future Ballon Dor Winner. Manchester United and Chelsea are the frontrunners for his signature.

LEFT WING FORWARD : CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI

Hudson-Odoi has a lot of potential to improve and become a very dangerous player. Injuries have eluded him of game time but Frank Lampard hopes to develop this player into a future star.
