The Italian Super Cup which will be held in 2019 finally gets a new location, namely in West Asia, precisely Saudi Arabia.

The new location has finally been determined for the Italian Super Cup match in the 2018-1919 season. The event that brings Serie A (Juventus) champions and AC Milan as Coppa Italia runners-up will be held in Saudi Arabia in January 2019.

It was also confirmed by the promoters of the General Sports Authority who were the organizers of the Italian Super Cup this time. "The GSA leader, Turkey Al-Shiekh has signed a contract with the Serie A CEO, Marco Brunelli, which gives the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the right to hold the Italian Super Cup between Juventus vs AC Milan," said the GSA statement as quoted by Football Italia.

For the time of implementation, this match will be held on January 13, 2019 in Jeddah. Or right during the winter holiday competition in the country of Pizza. And surprisingly, this match will cost around 7 million euros (double that of other overseas operations). As is known, this is the 10th time the Italian Super Cup was held outside Italy.

The first time the Italian Super Cup was held abroad in 1993 ago. At that time the meeting between AC Milan vs Torino was held in the United States (US).

However, in the next eight editions this competition was held again in the country, before being held again outside Italy in 2002. Then only since 2009 the Italian Super Cup began to be diligently held in East Asia and the Middle East.
