Launched in 2016 by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the sports brand A-Z will disappear. The footballer's clothing line has reported a loss of $23M over the past two years, according to Swedish media outlet Dagens Industri.

If Zlatan Ibrahimovic shines on the grounds of MLS, the same can not be said of his clothing line A-Z

Created in 2016, the brand of the former Paris Saint-Germain player has recorded a loss of $23M over two years.

Enough to discourage his main support, the Norwegian group Norske Varner, owner of channels like Dressman and Carlings, who decided to stop his collaboration with Ibra. "Despite solid growth in 2017, investments at the European level have become too expensive," the Norwegian company said in a statement.

Zlatan said that his launched this line of clothing to make sports equipment more accessible but business is business, no sell, no money, no gear.

A failure reminiscent of the "Zlatan Unplugged"

Named A-Z for "Amateur to Zlatan", the Swedish brand is not the first co-branding that ends badly. Last year, the application "Zlatan Unplugged" had been abandoned after recording losses of $46M. Developed by the company Mikz, the application was intended to show the daily life of the footballer.
