Reaction

Unsurprisingly Alisson starts for Liverpool as they hope it will solve their goalkeeping problems that effected Karius. Jurgen Klopp was unable to pick the new midfielder Fabinho due to injury, but has placed Keita in midfield to start his Liverpool debut. Liverpool in defence will miss Dejan Lovern who is still not fully fit after reaching the World Cup Final with Croatia.

West Ham, who were quite successful in signing a number of players over the summer look to upset Liverpool's start. Wilshere, Anderson, Frederick, Balbuena and Fabianski make their team debut today. West Ham will have their hopes set high after winning 3 of the last 4 pre-season games.
