Roberto Martinez men played in accordance with their expectations against World Cup debutants Panama. Panama failed to convert their attacking efforts into anything really effective while Belgium kept on pressing the opponent until Napoli star Dries Mertens scored beautiful half volley from outside the box – one of the most spectacular goals of 2018 World Cup so far. Unlike the Brazilian side yesterday, Belgium added extra pressure in the second half to make their striker Romelu Lulaku shine as true star of the game after scoring beautiful brace. Bravo to Belgium for very nice display, we expect more, please!
