Both Standard Liege and Club Brugge, well known as two biggest clubs in Belgian top tier, suffered unexpected losses at the sixth round of Croky Cup against much lesser sides Royal Knokke and KMSK Deinze. Brugge succumbed to thumping 2:0 defeat to Deinze, while Standard lost to Knokke 2:1.
Not the best day for the fans of Jupiler League’s leaders but undoubtedly such shock results adds the sense of intrigue to the whole competition.
