Even more, Rangers, warm with the goal, scored yet another effort after rapid counterattack just another 4 minutes later, but it was dismissed by referee due the offside.
After the break hosts dramatically improved as Russian side looked well motivated and organized at the back. After few chances in front, including clear penalty not given by the ref, Spartak leveled the scored for a third time in the game by Luis Adriano on 57th minute.
A minute later hosts stunned Rangers with one more goal that helped them to come from behind for a first time in the game – thanks to a firm shot by Sofianne Hanni as well as the vicious deflection that left McGregor helpless to reach the ball.
Last 20 minutes of the game both sides had a number of chances in the quite nervy game, but the hosts had enough concentration to secure the vital win – 4:3.
