Burnley hosted Everton in the premier league in what was the first game of the weekend in the premier league with both sides seeking all three points.
Robie Brady gave the host the lead in the third minute of the game after receiving a pass from Ashley Westwood in what can be termed a typical Burnley style to put them 1nil up.
Everton tried to get back into the game through their attackers but failed to, Fabian Delph was withdrawn in the 29th minute after picking up an injury and Andre Gomes was introduced.
The toffees got their equalizer through in form striker Dominic Calvert Lewin who continues to show how lethal he is by scoring his eleventh goal of the season in eleven games after receiving the ball from strike partner Richarlison.
However, the game failed to produce anymore goals as it ended one goal a piece.
