Tiger only played through 7 holes today at the PGA Championship. He was on fire for those 7 holes already surging to to -3 and beginning his climb back up the leaderboard. The leaders are now at -10 but Tiger still has 11 extra holes to play.
With how well the first 7 holes went today, the rain delay was a tough break for Tiger. He loses his momentum on the round and now has to play 29 holes tomorrow. It will be a long day of golf and it will be hard for Tiger to keep pace over that amount of holes.
The good news is that Tiger jumped up 25 spots and looks easily in range of making the cut, now tied for 23rd. The extra 11 holes are a lot but not unheard of. Let's hope Tiger can keep up his momentum and charge into the weekend in contention.
