When it comes to precipitation, the weather phenomena that first spring to mind are rain, snow and hail. At times we are unexpectedly caught under hail whereas at other times we come across heavy rain and sometimes we enjoy a beautiful and romantic walk while it is drizzling. Precipitations do not only affect daily life but they are also of crucial importance for the continuation of the biological life cycle. However, precipitations have types different than those we are used to. In this issue, we compiled the most interesting things that have fallen from the sky for you. Enjoy reading :)

Golf is a type of sport many do with pleasure. An appropriate course, comfortable outfits and bags are among the sine qua non of this sport. However, perhaps the most important material of golfs is golf ball. When golfers hit the ball of forty six grams weight and forty three millimeters diameter, they make the strike that determines their success. Of course; you are not used to seeing golf balls outside the course but would you ever think they would fall from the sky.

On 1 September 1969, residents in the United States Of America's Florida State witnessed a very interesting event. On a silent and rainy night, it suddenly started raining hundreds of golf balls. Balls were everywhere in the city. In gutters, on streets... In the Punta Gorda City of Florida, patrols of the police station started collecting the balls but a while later, they were tired of tussling with them. In the researches carried out in the local golfs clubs, the possibility that a hurricane might have carried the balls was stressed but this was not proven. The incident still remains a mystery.
