During the EHF Champions League second round of group C, the Portuguese team Sporting Lisbon went to Russia to play against Chekhovskie Medvedi. This game was particularly difficult for the Portuguese side, when the score as tied 22-22, in the last second of playing time, a 9 meter throw was conceded to Sporting and the Spanish playmaker Carlos Ruesga scored an unbelievable banger! The Spaniard was the visitors hero!
