Aldous Ashia Adjei is my name from the Southern part of Ghana in West Africa. Actually i joined Scorum few days ago through a friend called Whaleshares[aquacy], I say thank you aquacy for introducing me to such a wonderful platform like this. Upon joining this platform(Scorum), I never had the idea of how things are done here, how to post your own content and the whole idea of plagiarism. All I do was to post or get a little information about something and just post without thinking about my own content. Hereby, I was plagiarising.
Due to this, I had a wonderful friend who helped me realize my mistakes, how to make my own content or post and avoid plagiarism or avoid being flagged and he enlightened me more about Scorum and it works. I say thank you very much Kofpato, I am really grateful. Now i have a fair idea on how things work here and I am pretty sure that things which will be posted by me will not be plagiarised but will be my own content.
Realization..
What I am about to say here should be noted well and one should reflect upon it well. Names mentioned below should know it is actually the truth and nothing else. So no hard feelings.
I just got to realize how some members intentionally ignore posts that needs to be upvoted. Perharps they are being hypocritical or greedy but no worries it is the truth and nothing else. No hard feelings because with this content others will like and upvote whereas others will dislike.
At first, I thought Scorum is a place where everyone posts anything about sports, people will read or everyone will read, they upvote the content then follow your page as well but seems i got it all wrong. My thought tells me and it is true that, an individual will his or her own contents, others will read and those others will never follow or upvote(vote) it. But when this same individual posts or intentionally copy a content from a website, these people will notice that it is a stolen content or it has been plagiarised. These people will flag you and post all kinds of comments.
My question is that, if one can read a post which was created by myself and that person will never upvote the content or follow the page but when i post a plagiarised content here these people will have a say it is plagiarised, flag it and leave all sorts of comments. Why is this so?
This means those persons do read the posts but seems to be greedy to vote or help another. They will rather keep their votes and try to find faults in another. Even just following the page will be apporpriate. What at all will you gain or loose if you vote one's posts? But when it is plagiarised then you can flag and do all sort of things. Quiet astonishing.
Pardon me if i did hurt anyone's feelings whatsoever but it is still the truth and reality. Members like Rawdawg; Tosyne2much; and among others exhibited such acts like greed and others. What will happen or go wrong if a member post his or her own contents and you upvote, like or follow? All you do is to read others posts and never comment or do anything. But it seems your strenght lies in flagging people when they plagiarised or copy from somewhere because that is what you only see. Thank you Rawdawg and Tosyne2much for helping me know that some of my posts were plagiarised, I really appreciate it alot but try to upvote contents made by the original owner.
Scorum is one of the site which has helped a lot of individual financially and I say thank you Scorum for such a womderful aid. But to the people or members on this noble platform, you are the factors that will help others financially by just voting(upvoting) or liking their contents or posts. This does not only implies to Rawdawg and Tosyne2much but to all of us here.
This is because, there are others who are in financial crisis but with the help from Scorum they are now financially grown. So what is stopping you from helping another by just upvotinv or liking the posts and even following. The little advice I can offer is that, let us all learn to help each other by upvoting a post made by ourselves and others and stop ignoring post rather looking for faults in it.
It is good to draw attention to those who plagiarise or steal content from the websites but maybe they do it just to know if you are reading or following their page or posts. So do well to upvote and follow when they post content made by themselves.
I am just glad to bring out what I call The Hard and Untold Truth and I hope things will change. Hope you find this piece very intriguing.!. And all comments and critics are welcomed, at least it will show how others read my posts.
