Now you can track your Running Power and Heart Rate using the Polar Advantage V and M series a smartwatch for multi-sport. Running power is the next big thing in running it has been used quite commonly in cycling, but now it's also coming to running.

"There isn’t only one feature or

design detail that would fully

explain why the Polar Vantage V is

unique.

The Polar Vantage V and the Vantage M essentially a two different price but very, very similar features the Vantage V at 400i and the Vantage M is 270s. They have almost exact same multi-sport features but there are some differentiators when it comes to things like training load and recovery.

The LED

The next biggest thing you're gonna notice is the optical sensor on the back and of course Polar's doing been doing optical sensors now for a couple a years on not like as long a some of the other competitors.

They've always kind of upped the game when it comes to number of LED's in the output all sensor and there's LED's and basically the part of the sensor that goes a head and leads what the LED transmits into your skin.

Running Power Has Several Benefits

Running power is a rate of mechanical energy. Mechanical energy is a sum of kinetic and potential energies of sensor of the mass of runner.

Running power has several benefits if you measure both heart rate and power, you'll be able to detect changes in running performance. For example, if you can produce the same power with lower hearth after, let's say, week of training it's indication of increased running performance.

"Athletes can now monitor their

heart rate reliably without a chest

strap and track their heart rate

accurately straight from the wrist.

TRAIN AND RECOVER LIKE A PRO

A brand new heart sensor from the polar on the both of these devices they both share the same GPS chipset and they both the same user interface. They are both going to be obviously activity trackers and GPS watches but they will also track 24/7 activities including the 24/7 reading of your heart rate.

It can built in literally over 100 sports profiles on each device so this is going to track a lot of different activities. To highlight is that the Polar Vantage V is going to have a touchscreen and larger battery whereas the Polar Vantage M is not going to have a touchscreen.
