Have you ever faced any situation where you are being attacked?

We do not expect that we have to fight for self defense. There is a huge difference between fighting to be a champion in the fighting competition and fighting to survive.

When you fight for self defense, you are not fighting to show off or prove something, you are fighting to defend yourself and get back home alive. Situational awareness can help you a lot to make your move in order to protect yourself and your loved ones.

If you feel that something is wrong or you might get attacked, you have to be more aware of your surroundings. If it is not a serious situation and someone is just messing around, does not mean to hurt you, that's different. When you are dealing with a serious situation, you need to act accordingly.

In this video, you see the way the guy talks and moves forward, that gives a clear signal something is about to happen. He suddenly grabs the girl's shoulder with both hands and pushes her.

When someone pushes you, you will move backward. Make the distance between your front and back legs, and ground yourself properly. As a result, the attacker cannot push you further. Now you can do outside parry and move his hands away from your shoulder.

Then you can attack him. You can grab his head, press his eyes with your thumbs. He can be a big and strong guy, but there are some parts of the body that cannot be conditioned. You can do knee charge, kick to his knee, strike to his ear with open hands.

There are a lot of things you can do in this situation. To defend yourself, you can grab the attacker's hands from outside and pull when he grabs your shoulders. You can also grab his hands and follow his direction. He is pushing you, so you can pull him and throw him in another direction.
