This year's baseball All-Star Game will be held in Washington on July 15-17. Recently, the Major League Baseball has presented the uniforms which players will wear on the field.
On July 15 and 16 the participants of SiriusXM All-Star Futures, All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and T-Mobile Home Run Derby will be dressed in the Workout Day uniform.
The red jersey of the National League images the Capitol building in Washington, and the dark blue one of the American League images the Washington Monument. On the right sleeve is a patch with the All-Star Game logo, and on the left sleeve is the logo of the club the player represents. On the sides of the jersey there are white bands with stars on a contrasting background.
The caps are in the same color as the jersey. The emblem of the club is enclosed in a ring of 30 stars - according to the number of clubs in the MLB. On the right side of the cap the All-Star Game logo is embroidered, and the cap visor is decorated with six stars, three on each side.
Socks are the same for players of both leagues, they are decorated with the image of the Washington Capitol, as well as the National League jersey.
As for the All-Star Game itself, the caps will be tricolor, the club logo embroidered on the white field of the two front panels. On the top of the cap six silver stars are embroidered in a circle. The All-Star Game emblem is on the right side panel, same as in the Workout Day uniform.
The socks have the same colours as the Workout Day ones: white, red and blue.
