David Fletcher of the Los Angeles Angels and AJ Pollock of the Los Angeles Dodgers were named in the 'Player of the Week'.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) secretariat announced on the 13th that it had selected Fletcher from the American League and Pollock from the National League as the players of the second week of July.

Fletcher is his first award.Pollock is the fifth player in his career after playing with the Arizona Diamondbacks (4).Fletcher and Pollock wielded heavy blows in six games from the 6th to the 12th. Fletcher played with a batting average of 0.593, 2 homers, 7 RBIs, and 1.481 OPS (on-base percentage + slugging percentage). He had two four-hit games.

Pollock,who was selected as the first player of the week to wear the Dodgers uniform, batted .391 with four home runs and an OPS of 1.505.

Pollock is the first Dodgers player to be named Player of the Week since Corey Seager in September 2019.
