Milwaukee Brewers ace Corbin Burnes struck out in a parade and broke the record for most ties.

Burnes was placed on the mound as a starting pitcher in the 2021 MLB away game against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on the 12th.

Burnes presented a striking strikeout show from the beginning of the game. Burnes,who struck out all three batters in the bottom of the second inning,struck out consecutively in the bottom of the third and fourth innings and took an out count.

Burnes,who took the lead in the rise,went on to strike out 10 in a row by striking out even leading hitter Frank Schwindel in the bottom of the fifth inning.This is a tie record in MLB history. However, he allowed the next hitter, Matt Duffy, a right-handed hit in the first pitch, and the record-setting was thwarted.

Tom Seaver in 1973 and Aaron Nola (Philadelphia Phillies) set the record for striking out in a row on June 26 of this year.Burnes went shoulder to shoulder with them, becoming the third all-time record-breaking pitcher.

On the other hand,Burnes who showed off his excellent condition,worked hard with 8 innings of 4 hits,15 strikeouts and no runs,and harvested his 7th win (4 losses) of the season.Burnes 15 strikeouts that day is the most in his career.Here, Burnes climbed to second place (172) in the National League strikeout division.He trailed lead zack Wheeler (Philadelphia Phillies) by nine points.
