Max Scherzer Washington Nationals is on the verge of returning. He was confident of his physical condition after finishing his second bullpen session.
"Scherzer played his second bullpen session," according to report Major League homepage said on Sunday. "Scherzer, who conducted his first bullpen session (15 pitches) on Monday, has completed his second bullpen session, which is close to the actual game."
Scherzer also said after pitching, "I'm 100 percent. I can throw the ball in the direction I want," he said, confidently. Scherzer expressed his strong desire to return to the game, saying, "I want to throw fast.
Washington coach Dave Martinez, will be important day tomorrow. If Scherzer is in good condition, he could be on the mound for the weekend games," he said, even mentioning the timing of his return.
