The return of Carlos Carrasco is imminent.He will finally be on the mound in a New York Mets jersey soon.

Mets reporter Anthony DiComo of MLB.com posted on media on the 16th,In his first rehab,carrasco recorded 2 innings,1 hit and 2 strikeouts.He missed the first half due to a right hamstring injury.It looks like Carrasco can make a comeback at the end of July.

Carrasco,who joined the Mets through a trade in January, suffered a hamstring injury during running in training at spring camp in March.Carrasco,who suffered a serious injury was moved to the 60-day disabled list in May.

Carrasco,who missed the mound in the first half,focused on recovery and pitched his first bullpen on the 12th.After that he finished two innings pitching safely in his first rehabilitation start and a green light came on for his return.

After finishing his pitch,Carrasco said in an interview with SNY,It feels good to be up for the first time in three months.I want to go back to City Field and pitch soon.

He continued both the fastball and the change ball were good.More importantly, there was no problem with the hamstrings.I was able to do all the training I had to do before the game, including running and pitching.I'm really happy.
