On Wednesday, October 14th, 1908, the Chicago Cubs defeated the Detroit Tigers at Bennett Park in Detroit to clinch the fifth World Series four games to one. It was the second World Series championship for the Cubs franchise and the second that was won in Michigan. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
